Futura Fibre Blends

Futura/human-hair blend is a wig made from a combination of heat-resistant synthetic Futura fibres and natural human hair.

The blend gives you some of the benefits of both:

• Human hair: adds softness, movement and a more natural appearance.
• Futura fibre: helps the hair hold its curls/waves and maintain its shape for longer.
• Heat resistance: the Futura portion can tolerate heat, but the safe temperature depends on the specific fibre/manufacturer.
• More affordable: generally costs less than a 100% human-hair wig.
• Lower maintenance: the synthetic component can help the style retain its original shape.

One important thing: you shouldn’t treat a Futura blend exactly like 100% human hair. Excessive heat, high temperatures, or frequent straightening can damage the Futura fibres even though the human-hair portion itself can handle heat.
